There’s something about autumn that makes being home feel especially good. Here, in St. Denis, the mornings turn crisp, golden afternoons give way to cool evenings, pumpkins gather by the porch steps, and the trees of the Patapsco Valley forest put on their finest colors before letting the leaves tumble down.
